Larew joined several other writers and musicians at a jam-packed Listening Room session on July 20, 2025 in Richmond, Virginia, USA.

Todd Blair provided original pedal steel music alongside Larew's poems. Trey Burnet Hall (in picture) hosted.

And other presenters included writers Catherine Carson, Kisha Hughes and Camille DeAngelis and musicians Betsy Podsiadlo and Jeffrey Alan Jones.

Thanks to all of them for a rousing event. And to Preston Duncan for helping to make it all possible. And gratitudes to those who purchased Larew's books; all proceeds were donated to Poetry X Hunger.
