The Arts Lab of South County (Anne Arundel County, Maryland, USA) showcased a poem in the October 2024 newsletter. The poem was written as a result of Larew's visit to the Lab's grounds in 2023.
Here's the poem --
Galore
Can a barn float Oh
I think so especially when
Branches shade its
Doors and
Birds day galore
Up alongside it
Can a barn dream Surely
It can because
The tin roof has so
Much fun with my
Breezes or once agains
Can a barn love Indeed
It does even better than
Me with
A heart that bees sing over
Like hopes do through years and years
Of hay that brings

It ("GALORE") is light, airy, thoughtful and attractive in all the senses in all the cardinal directions. Hiram Larew scores.
