The Editors of San José State University's Reed Magazine published Larew's poem, What You Can't Write About, in Issue 159. Reed Magazine is California's oldest literary journal.

Wind whimpers on your pillow and becomes another sea

even as light bids your face waking.


Sighs bring views through blowing curtains

for hopes in hopes curved early...
