Important Update on Poetry X Hunger

Poetry X Hunger has officially become a component fund of Chesapeake Charities.  As such, Poetry X Hunger now enjoys all of the features of a 501(c)(3) organization.  

What does this mean?

* Poetry X Hunger can accept donations.

*  Poetry X Hunger can use its funds to make grants to nonprofits  that fight hunger with poetry.  Funding is subject to approval by Chesapeake Charities. 

* Poetry X Hunger can submit proposals to funding agencies -- asking for support for a Poetry X Hunger activity.
