Thanks to Kim Roberts and Jon Gann for once again organizing the annual poem-a-day DC Pride Poetry initiative during June's Pride Month. This year's focus is on poems of Urban Geographies. Larew's poem came about as a result of a NatureCulture (TM) writing retreat in Montreal.

And, Elliot Rubin has assembled and published Poets for Parkinson's: An Anthology Fundraiser (2026) in support of the fight to find a cure for Parkinson's disease. He was gracious enough to include three poems by Larew -- Boat, Remarkable, and Music.
Here's the link for purchasing the collection. All proceeds will go to the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's Research. Poets for Parkinson's: an anthology fundraiser 2026: Rubin, ELLIOT M.: 9798999037671: Amazon.com: Books
